Three Musketeers Poem by A. P. Herbert

Three Musketeers

God bless those mighty brains,
The brilliant and the brave,
That bear a planet's pains
And dig the devil's grave!

They faltered not nor fell,
Companions strong and sweet;
And may they share as well
The jobs of Civvy Street!
