Three Stanzas For Love Poem by Jyotishman Debnath

Three Stanzas For Love

I) our thoughts and laughter
drowned in blood
to the organs of stone
which can't be wrapped
with the skin of a cold snake
I was like a naked stone
and she was trembling in my coldness
when we were going besides the shaded leaves
no stone has talked about grief
and just there
it was love!

II) they say death is painful tough
but for me death is easy
and it's easier
when you die at someone Else's expense
and the expense is
love!

III)

I smile alone
sometimes I cry
in a rain drenched night
I often accompanied by thousand and one dreams
the golden ship of dream

have you looked through the window?
to see the deer colored sky?
have you walked that road
to feel the fragrance of a late blooming flower
have you seen the last sunrise?
to know that there is still hope....

if yes then,

we(you and I) must know
if death comes,
it comes second
and what comes first is.....
love!
