Three Strikes Fools: Punishment Overflowing Legislators Poem by Terence George Craddock

Three Strikes Fools: Punishment Overflowing Legislators

Rating: 5.0

do the crime do the time
but where was the first crime
committed where was the original

origin point of this first crime
is a system hardened criminal
also a once innocent child victim

once an innocent defenceless child
was the recipient of cruelty horrific;

punishment overflowing,
healing can only blossom
in the light of a love gifted

a sea of human compassion
regenerating a soul pleading
for love in a dark black hole;
