Three Ways To Die Poem by Kendra Evans

Three Ways To Die

Three ways to die

A gun on my right,
A blade on my left,
And a Bottle of rat poison
in front of me.
Three ways to die,
which one will choose?
Which one has the least amount of fight?
The gun presents a one way ticket,
but leaves a mess for someone to clean.
The blade will give me loads of pain,
and other feelings that I don't need.
But the poison is another subject,
in minutes I'll be unseen.

A gun to my right,
A blade to my left,
and a bottle of poison
in front of me.
Three ways to die,
which one will I choose?
Although none of them seem right.
What if it hurts?
What if I change my mind?
What if I look at the good things in my life,
just one more time?
What if I find a love that's all mine?
What if someone walks in and sees me?
Or worse tries to stop me?
What if there's some unfortunate soul,
who needs me?

So there's a gun to my right,
A blade to my left,
And bottle of rat poison
in front of me.
Three ways ways to die,
which one will I choose?

I chose Life.....
