Three Words Poem by Shiloh Thompson

Three Words

Capture my heart, mind and soul,
Take away all of my past sorrows,
Whisper you love me in my ear,
I yearn to hear those three words.

Twine your fingers in my hair,
Caress my cheek with gentle hands,
Press your forehead against mine,
I yearn to feel those three words.

Softly, tenderly, gaze into my eyes,
Love in every hidden glance,
Pretend you don’t think I’m watching,
I yearn to see those three words.

My love, my dear, my soul mate,
Undying trust and loyalty is yours,
Waiting here for you to realize,
I yearn to show you those three words.
