Some people face new challenges in life every day
But through the hard times they do battle their way
They surely do know what living life is all about
The people who refuse for to be counted out
They know about life on the tough side of the town
And on how it does feel to be financially down
Through hardships and tough times they have learned how to cope
And of better times ahead they do live in hope
One can hardly blame them if they feel they were not born to win
But despite their many disappointments they refuse to give in
The children of poor parents on poverty street
The challenges of survival every day they do meet
But they too have their dreams in life to pursue
And sometimes for their sort dreams also come true.
