Through The Reeds Poem by Kevin Maroney

Through The Reeds

Like a cold pond
Stuck through the water
Like my own drought
Woke from harry potter.
Fantasy does not
Equal reality
All a dream, endless, neverending
in Spleandor one drowns,
to stick the head out of the ground
when all is lost to wander around.
Stare
At the devestation thou hast wrought,
Wonder, peril, mystified in thought.
None have seen to their own mistakes, or
even stopped to look and ponder their own
Take on the world and never give back.
Always, never one to add to the rack.
Take your leather jacket and your monogrammed keys,
and turn your back on the world,
To wander through the reeds....
