Thunderstorm Poem by Austin Warwick

Thunderstorm

The clouds darken.
The dogs start barking
The wind starts to howl like a pack of wolves
The clouds start to cry
A streak of light comes down
Shocking everything around
The rain hits the window
Quiet at first, then bone-chilling
Like the banging
The clouds are making.
