'Thunderstorm' By Halyna Myroslava (Translation) Poem by Halyna Myroslava

'Thunderstorm' By Halyna Myroslava (Translation)

Forest will groan
On the eminence
A bird will be flapping its wings
Anxiously into the soul
Roaring like gusted wind

Lightning will cleave the sky trace
On tightened heaven by scars
Grayness will flow like the space of
The flood everywhere for twilight

A beast will shout out as if being
chained
He'll look for some peace
Shrilling madly and weeping from pain
And then will be
then will be ceased

Incurable wounds will swell there
Grapping deep into the bark
Cautiously spilling your sigh where
You face the thunderstorm mark
(From the drama 'Thunderstorm',1991, published on the site poetyka.uazone.net)
