Tiamal Poem by Dayna Verhulst

Tiamal

They met in a place of sorrows beauty
They thought they would have an immunity
Against the break
She has had more then she can take
He has left and she is broken
She wants to talk but they have not spoken

I want to help but she pushes me away
For her these are the darkest days
She says she just wants to talk
As she moves like a dock
Drifting on the waves of life
She wants to end this with a knife
