Tibetan Refugees Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Tibetan Refugees

Tibetan refugees,
I do see them sometimes
Walking me past
With sweaters and other woollen clothes,
Selling them in the bazaar,
By the roadsides,
Hand-woven and machine-knit clothes
Looking like the Nepalese, the Chinese,
Telling a different saga of life,
The lands unvisited,
Unknown so far
And I viewing it all out of sheer curiosity,
Wondering at my knowledge of the atlas,
How much do I know it really
About map and mapping, cartography,
Human geography and culture,
Is travelling a part of education
As I have not so far?
