Time Poem by James David Reed

Time

With the passing of time
Thinking of friends of mine.

Laughter, party and cheer
Going away to a deathly fear.

Life is quick to be done
Parties thrown but no one to come.

Older but better is an excuse
Finding myself a bit of a recluse.

Things will be better soon
Just waiting on a new moon.

Looking for changes to come
Knowing of what I have done.

Time is fleeting my friend
Will soon to come to an end.

Leaving this world for the next
Dont know what to expect.

Scared of what I might find
I will find out in time.

Almost to the end...
See you soon my old friend.
