Time Poem by Diana Rosser

Time

Your feathered tips
stretch out my fingers
the sway of your wings
my arms.

With you above
I swerve like a child.

The light wind is beneath you
and in my hair.
Bright sun glints in your eye.
On the water it dances
over the snouts of hippos.
