Time Poem by BOEMS BY JA WIZDUMBs BY JA

Time

I'm holding on for my dear life
As time goes flying by
Not yet ready for the sickle
That frees my soul to fly

I must have been a lazy man
With so much left to do
So now must hurry best I can
To at least complete a few

I look back and glimpses catch
Of things I could have done
But find it's been a boxing match
Each round I've lost, but one

This final round will take its toll
Before the closing bell does chime
So I work away with heart and soul
To try and finish up, on time
