Time

Time we always lose but never seem to gain

Time is what the heart needs to overcome the pain

Time ages us and cherishes us with life’s memories

But time also takes lives and weakens us physically

Time is what you want back so you can change the past

Time you wish would stand still so that moment will forever last

Time is the answer to an everyday question

But the time spent asking we miss out on affection

Time is the language that is spoken worldwide

No matter the religion in time we all confide

Time creates the laws by which we all must abide

But ultimately in the end it is us who must decide

How to spend our time
