Time Poem by Kaytlin Ketchum

Time

Time's out, my heart is aching
I'm in love, there is no faking
I was too slow, too annoying
Now it's over and I'm crying
I didn't mean it, didn't want to hurt you
But I did it anyway, now what do we do
I thought I had more time than this
For something as simple as a kiss
But I was wrong and now look and see
Your about to close the book on me
Great love can kill a person
No wonder I'm considering poison
I can't lose you, not now
I love you, how much you can't know
I'd kill myself in a thousand ways
Than loose you any of these days
These words are said from my heart
Even when it's broken apart
Don't give up on my love, for it's not gone
Remember why you stay with me this long or it's done
If you don't want me, I'll go
But if you do, don't make me do so
