Time tenacious
Determined and serious
In an endless cyclic dance
Always sporting the same simple costume
In her graceful public performance
Practised and perfected in advance
To bless her redeemers
And consume those that pay her no respects

Time courageous
Constant and curious
About man’s affairs numerous
Time vigorous
A wonder
A reminder
A teacher
A regulator
A motivator
A mender
A revealer
A leveler
A conqueror
A restorer
A healer
Never distorted
Nor distracted
But always focused
On her measured course.
