Time After Time

Time after time,
Love after love,
Work after work,
Birh after birth,
School after school,
Life after life,
Flight after flight,
Light after light,
Joy after joy,
Rain after rain,
Food after food,
War after war,
Flood after flood,
Dance after dance,
Song after song,
Prayer after prayer,
Lessons after lessons,
Street after street,
Poem after poem,
And muse after muse;
But we are all part of the system.

poet Helen Hunt Jackson

The month of carnival of all the year,
When Nature lets the wild earth go its way,
And spend whole seasons on a single day.
The spring-time holds her white and purple dear;
