Time In Garden
He toils
In his yard
And nurtures
A garden.
Seeds sown
Germinate into
Green plants
How satisfying!
Some flowers
That bloom
Fill heart
With joy.
Leaves for salad
Vegetables for supper
Fruits from trees
It's gratifying.
Moving around
Weeding
Helps inhale
Clean air.
Dead leaves
He gathers
Puts in the pit
For manure.
Self sustaining
Activity
Keeps limbs
Agile.
Time spent
In the garden
Adds to life
Indeed.
Some flowers That bloom Fill heart With joy....there is no shadow of doubt in it dear poet. A beautiful poem.

Time in the garden is well spent but you have to net the veggie plants as the slugs like to spend time eating what you've planted too! !
