Did you know what you were looking for
When you looked behind you and saw that open door
What were you thinking, when you chose to walk past
That there would be another door, maybe better than the last
Do you walk around thinking time is on your side
And life can't catch up with you as long as you can hide
But one day it will, and like the blink of an eye
Time will then show you, it's never been on your side
Now living each day wishing you would have done more in life
For your days are now filled with chaos and blame
Kind of like holding on to the string of a kite
While the wind takes over and then starts to rain
Just remember it's never too late
For it is written
Then so it be
For all truth has been mentioned
Giving hope and faith for you and me
So stop standing back to watch
Waiting for Jesus to return
Wondering if you'll be forgiven or not
For whom ever it does concern
Backing up in life is not an option
So moving forward is all that you have
Remembering God's promise to forgive and all be forgotten
Is enough to stop feeling guilty of times in your life gone
bad!
