Humble skies,
Empty evenings.

Mornings inferior,
Discouraged noons
and nights with no embroidery!
have become my acquaintances.

I once knew an evening.
The best room of the day's mansion.
Decorated with the best air of passion.

I once knew a noon.
Youthful and gay,
Lit by care's brighest ray.

I did once know a morning.
A morning so confident and gleeful.
Beautified by the charm of love's grace.

Unforgettably, I once did know a night.
Lit by hope's eternal flame.
A night that felt breeze of communion,
saw the stars of friendship.
It laid in the bed of hope,
rested its head on the pillow of emotions.

All I once knew
now are just tied up with memories thread.
I can only see them in the past.
Just because time put us apart.
