Time To Say Goodbye Poem by Youlem Moussef

I know you love me, I love you too
But I cant stand being without you
We're fighting a lost cause we both know it
It'll probably hurt don't it?

I'm stuck here sleepless in my bed
A Million things going through my head
So I decided to write a bit to ease on my mind
Words are looking hard to find

Remember when I confessed my love
I thought that it would take a miracle from above
To have you with me in my arms
Your hands resting in my palms

Now i'm lying in the same room from where I expressed my feelings
3 years to the date, trying to think of the right thing while staring at the ceiling
I must say I don't regret a moment while we were together
Except when I realized that we couldn't be forever

You'll probably hate me, it's okay you must
So you can open a new chapter and wipe the last one like dust
I know It's been a while since I wrote
I don't care if it's bad I'll always have your vote

We've done this several times but I feel this is the last one
You will not shed tears not even a single one
And now you must move on you have to
So I can do the same and hopefully find someone like you
