Time To Think Poem by Tessa Eichhorst

Time To Think

Rating: 2.0

I need to get away form here,
away from this craziness. I need
to get away from all this stess,
nonsense, and beginning waves
of depression.

I try not to let this happen, but somehow
this stress always tries to take my
mind away. Coming home always gives
me the time to think, clear my head,
find a sense of clarity.

This only happens for a week or so,
this state were I just break down and
need room to breath. Staying here
during that time suffocates me; takes
away my outgoing personality. All
I need is time to think about what
all this really means to me; how
bad I really want this.

This time can be five minutes, or
more or less. This time could be
a breathing exercise or a touch of
a warm hand. As long as you understand
I don't need time from you; just from
this place, these studies, and people.
I just need a country side, warm breeze,
quiet air, and time.
