Tiny Island Poem by Morgan Uptain

Tiny Island

I'm a tiny island
In a vast ocean
My feet buried in the sand
But i feel no emotion

There are no ships
No one is looking for me
I have nothing but a bag of chips
And a palm tree

The water hits the shore
Very gentel and light
Keeping me at ease
Trying to settle a score
With stone in sight
As if saying please

The water beckons me to drink
But into deep sleep i slowly sink
