Tired of it All!

Tired of all the negative things in this country,
Where is the help when you really need it?

I am but a victim of being poor and unfortunate,
I have paid my dues through work to get help!

Right now all I get is the runaround and nonsense,
Of being pushed off and rejected for the help I need!

I was born and raised here; I have worked for everything,
Now I need the help there is no one for me!

I'm so tired of jumping through endless hoops and roads,
That led to another yet but dead end for me to see!

Why is that we cannot take care of own kind in this country,
Instead we cater to all the other countries, forget us by far?
