Tireless Learning Poem by Luo Zhihai

Tireless Learning

Tireless Learning

Read ten thousand volumes of books
draw the dragon's liver and the Phoenix's marrow
in the books

Walk on a thousand miles of road
survey local customs and practices
on the road

Constantly study
at all times and in all countries
collect and store things of different contents and properties.

Everywhere put into practice
astronomical geography
know widely and remember abundantly

Note: first and second sentences by Luo Zhihai.
Third and fourth sentences by Qian Yongde.
