To A Darling Friend Poem by james watkin

To A Darling Friend

Too much, this slender daisy
Nods shyly as you.
Too much, when almost hearing
Boulder's shadow, despair's weight
In rolling, roll to.

Breathless pass what nervy is
Stemmed for your frailties.
Endurance test on my part!
In its changeful skies, coped with
Grieve your anxieties!
