To All The Girls I Have Loved Before Poem by Marc Jude Fernandes

To All The Girls I Have Loved Before

To all the girls I have loved before
All of you have shown me the door
Only I have loved and I loved alone
With this refrain, my heart will forever moan

I approached you with a heart of gold
To you I have revealed my soul
Laid it bare for you all to see
And sang an unchained melody

You all eulogized my muse
This has proved to be of no use
Though it brought me a short ecstacy
You never loved the real me

Now all the girls I have loved before
None will ever come to my door
They are now someone else's wives
No place for me in their lives

Still I will love you with all my heart
Even though my world is blown apart
Praying for you wherever you are
Till I become a dwarf star
