To Fight Love Poem by Shannon Ross Dalton

To Fight Love

Rating: 4.0

have never felt so much pain
-anger running through my veins.
Smiling through my tears,
living in my deepest fears.
Wishing to re-wind
A battle on the inside,
Struggling to understand,
someone please give me a hand?

I'm broke, torn apart,
not to mention my heart...
I want you back,
Start a new track...
Treat you right,
I don't want to fight...
Give me a chance,
one last glance...

But now you happy,
Something I wanted to give you badly.
So I will let you smile,
start a new dial,
Even though it's not my number,
your love will always be my hunger.
Now comes the hard part,
its tearing me apart.
Letting you grow
is a pain that is so slow...
To finally realise it's all over,
Which will bring me a little closure,
But I will still hope for a future
with you as my suitor.
