To Love Or To Hate?
Is it better to love than to hate?
Is it better not to love but to be
Indifferent?
To love and not have it returned
Is no pleasure at all yet to hate
Will surely destroy the soul and
To be indifferent is robotic and
Cold where everything is logic
And numbers to be counted.
So what should we feel?
It surely is a dangerous game.
One we have little control over
And the foolish heart reigns
