I reached atop - the summit of my life,
And above me I see rainbow of joy,
I watch dancing clouds coupled with joyful showers,
Each droplet of the showers sings of a colourful moment -
Enshrined along my way of life with nostalgic notes,
Lofty mounts capped with Heavenly blossoms,
Steep peaks of adventures stay awake beside me,
Yea, I stand upright with my head high above.
My heart keeps bubbling with unfelt ecstasy of joy,
All around me there's perceived a congregation of angels,
Heavenly choir with Its lovely refrains reverberates ‘twixt the horizons.
I look down my upheaved steps from above,
So beautifully woven with thorns and roses,
Pains were pains; roses were roses,
And they've been a splendid chaplet ever.
Thou art my Alma Mater…. behind my career,
A sojourn on earth offered by my Master!
I took shelter in thy womb when surrounded by thistles.
I grew with thy nourishment till I turn grey.
I might have turned deaf unto thee awhile,
And this was due to some shortcomings,
And every one hath been stained with black scars.
I have been clothed by thee all through these years;
Despite my journey all through deserts and streams.
I sailed through Spring; scorched by summer;
I was shaken by Fall; shivered in Winter,
Yet, my journey of life hath been to reach the destination.
I was able to wink my eyes; raised my brows;
And thou hast be always with me to feed.
Yet, above thee, Providence from Above hath been with me,
And He hath been my Living Saviour ever -
Yea, He is the Saviour of the whole world -
The One and Only Lord Jesus Christ.
My heart rejoiceth in Him always till my last breath.
