I want to walk the path of a shiny white dove
Whose flight goes ever up towards the light
Push all dark and rainy clouds aside
And see it all there above so clear.
The essence so pure and always near.
You shine to me, an earthly star
The sense of your touch is never far.
And from the path of the shiny white dove
I have been shown that with you the world is love.

I want to hold the dove gently in my hand
The ascend is over, the light is here
I know that our love will never sear.
Through rain and thunder, wind and storm
I will hold your hand and never mourn
The day you promised me your hand
Through all that comes in every land.
Because from the path of the shiny white dove
I have been shown that with you the world is love.
