To Protect Who?
The three times we have been here
We laboured a distance from our joy
The road back here different each time.
Who does the villain protect in earnest?
His entertainment is the marching mass
Of multitudes robbed of integrity.
First time led here for his persuasion
Second to search hint of regret on his face
This third, is only from our foolishness.
