Simply telling I love you
Is not enough to show my
Love for you. To show my
Love I have waited for the
Tender bud to open up so
That I can steal its essence
And put it in your long hair.
To show my love I have to
Suck up the lilting sound of
A stream and kiss your neck.
I have to beg the sky its color
To infuse into your innocent
Eyes. And plunder the colors
Of wild flowers of the valley
To paint your dreams. And
Then my love for you will be
Pure and immortal and sublime.
