To Some Hoped For Critic Of The Future Poem by Bill Grace

To Some Hoped For Critic Of The Future

From Norman Mailer on 'Charlie Rose'
And from my great professor Bob Kimball
I have absorbed the dicturm
That the task is to sense and write
And leave the pile for others to judge
In hope that like Dickinson's drawer
That when it is opened
Even though it did not go Ka-Ching!
Something of merit was still found inside.
