Yet again I stand with the troubled ghost from the past,
I pondered that I laid it to rest in the primal ways known best,
Did not dig a grave and let it remain there for some day to spring back on me with revenge,
I let it go in the air, past my arms reverie,
And now when you come back staring at me, I look at you with a diffidence of no longer wanting to care,
Quiet is my face in responding to your grimace,
For you are nothing but a ghost to me from a time I no longer wish to remain,
I do not intend to haunt you with my grace,
Thy is just a shadow from a time long remained,
I wish thee farewell as I am about to sail,
As we are no longer haunted memories, but mercurial lights that are blissfully far away….
