I want to make you crazy
I want you to drown in your own thought
Overwhelmed by the engulfing waves
And the crashing tides
That ebb and flow
At the forefront of your mind
I want to lead you down
Deep into oceans blue
To a place where mermaids swim
And sing their haunting songs
I want to lead you
To a place where no other soul has happened upon
And bring you to just upon the brink of understanding
And when your eyes
Wide with fear
Gaze longingly above
To the surface of the world that you once knew
And your lungs scream
For the want of air
And your legs tire of swimming
It is only then when I would kiss you
And breathe into you a new life
And pray to all the Gods
That the old one should die
