! To William Blake, Poet, At Christmas Poem by Michael Shepherd

! To William Blake, Poet, At Christmas

Rating: 4.8

Through the tears
soon breaks a smile;
See God's Grace
here in a Child.

Eyes washed clear,
the Soul shines bright;
eyes washed clean,
the World's Delight.

This is lovely Michael, one of my favorite poems is Auguries of Innocence and I see it in this piece. Thanks for bringing it to mind in this seasonal poem.

Sometimes it`s hard to see God`s grace, but I know that it`s with me, You and I are of an age, a good time to live I think..a happy Christmas to you and yours. archie L
