Today, I'Ll Be A Dogcatcher Poem by Dave Agee

Today, I'Ll Be A Dogcatcher

Dripping with desire,
Reckless, I aspire,
Like a church steeple spire
Stretching higher, higher, higher.
In the sky are all my dreams,
Each one bursting at the seams.
Some are meaningful,
Some meaningless,
Some are in between.
I will catch them all.
I will hatch then tall
I will stand on my little mound
Of dirt where I am King,
On my great, big hill of sod
Where I am God.
