Today I Will Choose To Praise God Poem by C.B. Carlos

Today, I will not think of things that make me sad
Because today is a new mercy from God.
Today, I will smile so the world will see
the love and grace of God that is in me.

There is a sunshine waiting for me
There is a hope that I can clearly see.
A life with my Maker, Bestfriend, Lover, Father:
My Bother, my Life, my Refuge, my Everything

Today, I will sing of His greatness
For He changed my life that was once a mess.
I will choose to obey His word
To trample the enemy, for it's a sharp Sword.

I am overwhelmed by His grace
It's so wide and deep, I can't contain it
I am caught in His embrace
Knowing He loves me, Oh how sweet!

Yesterday, my life was once in darkness
Where life was nothing but full of distress.
Then I found God, Who saved me
He put a smile on my face and set me free

So today, I will choose to praise God
Just today. Because today will be yesterday
And tomorrow will be today.
So I will praise God forever.
In His word will I Obey :)
