Today is the day,

The day I become you.

This day was coming,
It landed us here,
We both expected and knew.

I wrestled the years,
Never giving heed to you,
Fighting all my longing fears.

To feel your emotions,
Understanding the decisions you do,
Why halt such gracious devotion?

Let's become one another,
Melt our thoughts into one,
Close your eyes my lover.
