Tomorrow Poem by Mark Walter

Tomorrow

The sun will rise. The sun will set.
Babies will cry. They won't forget.
Birds will sing. They'll also fly.
Trees will grow. They'll touch the sky.
Clouds will come. They may bring rain.
People will hurt. But learn from pain.
The moon will show. It always does.
Crickets will chirp. Just because.
Flowers will bloom. They'll look so pretty.
It'll happen here. And every far away city.
Workers will work. They'll pay their dues.
Today is what you make it. You get to choose.
The wind will blow. Gusts so strong.
It's a perfect day. Find where you belong.
Cars will drive. And trains will run.
Life keeps going. It's never done.
Wars will be fought. Battles will begin.
There's a reason we fight. We want to win.
New life will spring. Old life with end.
The day is beautiful. No need to pretend.
Family stays. Lovers will wait.
You must live today. It's not too late.
Today is yours. It's time to act.
Start living now. Make your impact.
You may be scared. That's okay.
Look to the heavens. It's time to pray.
Keep the faith. And hope as well.
Love is a demon. Sent straight from hell.
The best is coming. The worst is too.
Everything happens. It's so damn true.
