Tomorrow Is Lying Poem by Gbolabo Adetunji

Tomorrow Is Lying

I felt resistance in our embrace

Our fingers were lying

I hear the loll in our gaze

Our eyes were lying

I sense the contest in our love

Our hearts are lying

I hear the bubble in our souls

Our minds are lying

I see the barricades in our aura

Our mood malingers

I sense the gulf in our cuddles

Our bosoms are lying

I feel the holes in our stories

The moments are lying

I hear the hurricane in our calm

Our dreams are lying

I feel the heartbrake in our future

Tomorrow is lying
