Alas! Tomorrow is Tuesday
My own deadline was done
Though I made some violations
I know you get my part

Alas! Tomorrow is Tuesday
Tomorrow will be my judgment day
Am I forgiven for what I did last Sunday?
Or I’ll have to wait for another Tuesday?

Maybe I did say I’m tired
But tiredness does not mean boredom
Nor it does mean the need for freedom
Neither it does not mean giving up

Is this the way you want us to be?
Is this the way you wanted us to end?
Is this the way you’re returning the gift?
The gift you claimed to be lost but were returned….
