Too Late Poem by Brodie Montgomery

Too Late

If you wake up and the rain still falls,
Then your heart will fall,
And the storm will call.

If you wake up and the wind still blows,
Then your tears will flow,
And your heart can't grow.

If you wake up and the clouds are grey,
Then your pain will stay,
And you'll fade away.

When you wake up and the end feels near,
Then your heart feels fear,
And your minds not clear.

These are the signs that you lie in death,
Without your breath,
Forever rest.
