Toro As I Am Poem by Alexandra PetricoZabelina

Toro As I Am

I've got a cow's eyes,
No glasses can disguise.
I've dreamt of curly hair
Waving nicely with some air.

But they are thin and silky,
Browny like chocolate sweetie.
The same is with my skin
So is my inner self within.

I'm Taurus as my birthstar says,
I'm always keen to firmly stand.
I don't well see what is in front,
but follow strictly all the sides.

I am a TORO, Spaniards say,
Recpectfully aware,
I won't forget any offends
As long as the offender's there.

They make me suffer - i reply.
I'm not sadistic, I'm just thorough.
They make mistakes - i realise
And long for justice even harder.

The bull brings more than only fright
It's graceful, thoughtful, useful.
Can entertain one's curious eyes
Of those who truly value beauty.

The bull means a well of wealth.
It's always on the way to money.
And even if there's no success
It searches hard to fill its tummy.

Rodeo doesn't make it pleased -
It's not delighted to be funny.
Its hooves will sooner be released
And keep to hit the ground and bounce.

Beef's given me my strength
When I was still a little child.
It's built my body, spine and head
To make me positively wild.

Despite my self-control and this self-praise
Evaluating all the chances
I tend to often hesitate
Desire to be determined on the contrary enhances.

In fact it is the only poem
Which is devoted to my modest self.
Coz self-unconfidence for real
Puts my hidden core to the higher shelf.

What makes it go downstairs is the LOVE
of Parents, Husband, Friends and Brothers.
And everything is going on so high.
GOD BLESSED, i wish it ALL to others.
