Total Solar Eclipse Spans Over Two Hours Poem by Terence George Craddock

Total Solar Eclipse Spans Over Two Hours

spiritual mystical wax feelings lyrical
haunting heart strings vibrant beautiful
imagination keynotes solar eclipse lips
natural supernatural astronomical ecliptical
total solar eclipse red extensive coronal filiaments
an aura of plasma surrounds the sun other stars
our Sun's corona extends millions of kilometres
into space easily seen during a total solar eclipse

a garland wreath crown life giving sun adorns
ancient civilizations considered supernatural
bad omens frightening their sun disappearing
during the day as the sky darkens in minutes
looking too long into corona sun direct lead
to curse permanent eye damage or blindness
total solar eclipse fear unexplained terrifying
watching sun slowly bite eaten gone 7.5 minutes
