Chilly wind moving closer to me
Wrapping now my feet
Touching my weary limbs
Until I reach the final trail
Thousands of feet above
The smallest volcano
On earth I’ve ever known
I wonder why I’m above
Mt. taal
And see no fire
Even the huffs and puffs
In the eye of my mind
only here I apply
The true essence of acceptance
