Towards home we headed
Under shadow and bough
The branches rustled
As the cool breeze flowed
We meandered along
That old winding road
Twilight pervaded all things
Pierced only by the feathers of the moon
At the threshold we paused
Home, or was it
We turned back, continuing on
And the calm forest embraced us again
