We got rules

so many rules

we make more
every day

parameters
of behavior
we MUST obey

No way you say?

Freedom of choice?

The individual
holds sway

Anarchy today?

OK
be that way

but

what If

we all
do our
own thing

and my thing
don't mesh
with your thing?

compromise

is everything
in a free
society

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
